Chu Sup Tsang Foundation is a non-profit non governmental organization that works to preserve and spread the teachings of Tibetan Buddhism, particularly the teachings of Master Ven. Lama Tsong-Khapa, transmitted by the lineage of Khem Tamding Gyatso Rinpoche. The purpose of these teachings is to help eliminate the suffering of all beings and the development of their ultimate happiness.


The president of Chu Sup Tsang Foundation is the Tibetan Master Ven. Geshe Tenzing Tamding.

Ven. Geshe Tenzing was born in Dagyab Tamding (Kham) in 1966. At the age of 10 he began studying at Ganden Shartse Norling College. He studied in India for 17 years in Ganden University. Where he obtained the title of Geshe Lharampa (Ph.D. in Buddhist Philosophy) being one of best the Geshes of the new generation.

In several important spiritual teachings and religious ceremonies, he was the Dalai Lama’s personal Chinese interpreter.
He has received intensive study of Tibetan grammar, literature, memorizing religious texts and debates in Gaden Shartse Monastery.
He has completed all the courses of the five major areas of Buddhist knowledge of the Perfection of Wisdom, Madhyamika, logic, metaphysics and Monastic Discipline with distinction, reaching the highest certified academic honour in the Gelupa School.

During his studies he completed Ka-chu, Ramjupa, debated in Perfection of Wisdom and Dorampa. He also belonged to the Dharamsala Institute of Buddhist Dialectics. He studied with great enthusiasm all the main subjects of Buddhist philosophy. He is a talented student of Tibetan literature, history, religion and English.

After his graduation from Buddhist University, H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama sent him to preach the pure and authentic Buddhadharma to monastic universities, institutions and Buddhist centers around the world.

 After the passing away to Paranirvana of Geshe Tamding Gyatso the 20th of April of 2002, he took over as Spiritual Director of all his centers. So at the moment Geshe Tenzing Tamding is the spiritual Director of 16 Buddhist centers in Spain and also in Japan, the United States, Singapore and Taiwan.
